"Port-Cruinn"
The debut release is a Teaninich 11 year old, finished in a Pedro Ximenez Octave for 8 months

This single Octave cask gave up only 59 bottles.
It is natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at a rather energetic 54.2%vol

This is the first in a series of six Octave bottlings.

Each bottling will be from a different distillery, showcasing the breadth of intense flavours that finishing single malt scotch whisky in the much smaller Octave casks can create.

To reflect the variety of releases in The Jar Octave Series, each bottling has been themed after a different style of traditional Scottish music.  

A Port-Cruinn (Jig) is a lively, skipping tune in compound time with a distinct triplet rhythm.

The backdrop of the label is the sheet music for the classic Port-Cruinn, Cailleach an Dudain (The Old Wife of the Mill-Dust).

Due to the small number of bottles from an Octave cask, this series is limited to only 2 bottles per person.
