This is the first time Raasay’s signature lightly peated spirit has been fully matured in Marsala casks, and the result is something special.
The whisky has soaked up all the wonderful, nutty and oxidative notes from the long-seasoned wood.
On the nose, you'll find a delightful mix of dried pears and apricots, with a gentle sweetness and a whisper of smoke.Take a sip and you'll be met with baked apples, a hint of maple syrup, and a sophisticated balsamic note.The finish is long, with that familiar Raasay smokiness that lingers beautifully alongside notes of roasted coffee.
