Lochlea Ploughing - 3rd Crop

Over the past few years, the Lochlea seasonal small batch releases have showcased the signature Lochlea style in four different ways.

As a working farm, these expressions tie-in with exactly what is happening here at that time of year.

Ploughing Edition (3rd Crop) is the fourth in the final set of four limited editions, marking the end of the Seasonal trilogy.

For this release the signature Lochlea spirit in Ex-Islay Barrels, and the liquid is one year older than the 2023 Edition.

The powerful peated casks and extra ageing combine to produce the smokiest Lochlea single malt whisky released to date.

Nose - Fresh green apple, sweet toffee and comforting notes of signature Lochlea cereal.

Palate - More fresh fruit, giving way to wonderful savoury smoke and malted biscuits.

Finish - Moreish fresh coastal notes of sea salt and a long lingering hint of peat.

Bottled at 46%abv, non chill filtered and natural colour.
