Lady of the Glen - Putney 13 year old

We are incredibly excited to unveil this momentous single cask selection: the first ever cask Lady of the Glen have chosen from this revered distillery, situated in the historic fishing port of Wick, one of the most northerly on the Scottish mainland.

This exceptional 13-Year-Old single malt was distilled on the rare date of February 29th, 2012, and bottled on April 2nd, 2025. To ensure the distillery's intense coastal and maritime character shines through, they have matured the heavy-bodied spirit entirely in its original Refill Barrel (#800134), resisting any temptation to finish it elsewhere.

Delivered at a powerful, unreduced natural cask strength of 58.9% ABV, the distillate’s inherent spicy and fruity notes are perfectly preserved.

The palate is a compelling mix of sweet and savory coastal elements. The taste reveals bright, fizzy lemon sherbet, a rewarding twist of salt and black pepper, and a final, warming undertone of rich liquorice.

This is an extremely limited single cask release, yielding just 241 bottles at 58.9%abv.
