Kingsbarns 10 yo

This special, limited-release whisky marks a significant milestone for Kingsbarns Distillery as their first 10-year-old single malt.

The spirit is crafted from locally sourced barley and has spent a decade maturing in a carefully selected combination of casks: 90% ex-Bourbon barrels and 10% STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) red wine barriques. 

The influence of the ex-Bourbon barrels brings classic notes of soft vanilla and a hint of tropical sweetness, providing a smooth and welcoming foundation. Meanwhile, the STR barriques contribute a subtle depth and a gentle spice, adding another layer of intrigue to the overall profile. The result is an elegant Lowland single malt that is both approachable and layered.
