Auchentoshan - 16 year old - Lady of the Glen

Distilled on October 31st, 2007, and bottled on July 2nd, 2024, this single malt's journey included a significant finish in an ex-Port cask before being bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.7%vol  

Produced through triple distillation for a light and delicate character, it was first matured in a refill hogshead before spending 17 months in a first-fill ex-Ruby Port cask, a process that has clearly imparted notes of red fruit sweetness.

Independent bottlers seldom release this triple-distilled spirit, known for its inherently light and sweet profile that is thought to reach its peak maturation in its teenage years.

The 17-month finish in an ex-Ruby Port cask, notably enriched this whisky with red fruit flavours. The tasting experience reveals Turkish delight, red liquorice, and honeycomb chocolate.
