Adelphi - High Coast 2014

Adelphi welcomes back their friends from High Coast Distillery in rural Northern(ish) Sweden, a producer that has been "knocking it out of the park for many years" with their innovative single malts.

This 2014 vintage, matured for 9 years, is drawn from a First Fill Oloroso Hogshead and bottled at a robust 58.1% ABV. Critically, this cask represents a milestone for the bottler, as it is Adelphi's first unpeated release from the High Coast distillery.

While High Coast is often celebrated for its peated expressions, this bottling demonstrates the sheer quality of their unpeated spirit.

The combination of their powerful distillate with the rich influence of a first-fill sherry cask ensures a whisky packed with flavour and a deep, complex character that is perfectly integrated and true to the distillery's reputation for excellence.
