Troon RNLI Auction
Saturday 30th August is the official naming ceremony for Troon’s new Shannon Class Lifeboat, hull number 13-55
This special bottling of single-grain whisky celebrates the arrival of the Roy Barker VI - Troon's new Shannon-class lifeboat.
Funded by the generous bequests of Mr. Roy Barker and Mr. Alan Aspinall, this vessel will continue Troon’s proud tradition of saving lives at sea.
Indeed, upon entering service she was straight into action, with her first shout successfully saving a life.
